60 Years of Barrett’s Legacy
In the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of technology, longevity is the ultimate proof of character. Companies come and go, riding the waves of fleeting trends, but true reliability is built over decades of steady, unwavering commitment to clients. This year, Barrett’s Technology Solutions proudly marks 60 years in business. This milestone speaks not just to our technical expertise, but to the deep, generational trust we have cultivated within our community since our founding in 1966.
Last month, we took a moment to pause and celebrate this diamond anniversary. It was an event that perfectly captured the spirit of who we are. Our design center was buzzing as we subtly showcased our newest immersive video wall installation, giving our guests a glimpse into the cutting-edge future of home entertainment. However, true to how we do business, the real heart of the celebration took place outside.
On a beautiful evening, the atmosphere transformed into a vibrant gathering of food, libations, and genuine connection. We were profoundly honored by the turnout. It wasn’t just our dedicated employees and their families who came to celebrate. Some of our most valued partners in the custom home-building industry and many of our long-standing clients arrived to share in the joy. Seeing clients who have trusted us with their homes for years mingling with the technicians and designers who brought their visions to life was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
The highlight of the evening was an emotional tribute to the people who are the true foundation of Barrett’s Technology Solutions. Current President and Owner, Brian Perreault, took the stage to acknowledge every employee with over a decade of service. In an industry defined by rapid change, the loyalty and seasoned expertise of our team is our greatest asset, and honoring their dedication was a long-deserved moment.
The celebration was made even more special by the return of former President and Owner, Joe Barrett. Joe shared heartfelt remarks about his father, who founded the company in 1966, and expressed deep gratitude for his siblings, who were all in attendance to support the enduring family legacy. It was a deeply touching moment, bridging the past and the present. It highlighted a simple truth that while the technology we install today would have looked like science fiction in 1966, the commitment to family, community, and uncompromising service has remained beautifully constant.
